DALE EMERY
Dale has been training dogs for hunting and obedience for over 26 years. He originally built Stonehearth Kennels for his own dog, but decided to expand its operation into a boarding and training facility. He visited larger kennels out of state and took the best ideas and incorporated them with his own as to how he wanted the kennels built. He built the kennels on 16 acres of land and added two ponds to have access to water training. The grounds are set up to teach young gun dogs (retrievers and pointers) concepts that they will encounter in the field.
The large outdoor basic obedience compound is evenly lighted by high pressure sodium lights (HID) for night time training. Many of the retrievers and pointers Dale has trained have attained their AKC Master Hunter, Senior Hunter, and Junior Hunter test titles. Dale has had field trial dogs attain AKC Qualifing All Age status and compete in Open All Age as well.
Dale takes great pride in watching his customers attain obedience and gun dog titles. Our primary goal in training your dog is that you (the owner) are able to run your own dog and work together as a team.

REESE McCOY
Reese has been a trainer at Stonehearth for over 10 years. Reese is an avid hunter of water fowl and upland birds. He has been participating in AKC Hunt Tests for the past 10 years and has done very well in getting AKC titles on his dogs.

BOBBY RAASCH
Bobby first met Stonehearth's owner Dale Emery through the Internet and purchased a "land membership" at Stonehearth as a place to train his gun dog, Lela. Dale walked Bobby through training Lela and you can now find Bobby and Lela hunting all over the midwest. Dale was so impressed with Bobby's enthusiasm for dog training and the quality of work he did that Dale brought him on board as a trainer.

SCOTT KOBLITZ
Scott had his first labrador, Gunner, trained by Dale 6 years ago. After seeing all of the work that went into training Gunner and another dog, Jada, Scott got the bug to become a gun dog trainer and has worked with Dale ever since.
